Adobe InCopy CC 2015 is a professional content creation and editing software that integrates closely with Adobe InDesign CC to improve collaboration between design and editor teams.
Functionality:

- Paragraphs spanning multiple columns. InCopy CS5 allows you to create paragraphs spanning multiple columns. You can also split a paragraph into multiple columns within the same text frame. See Create paragraphs that join or separate columns.
- signature variables. In InDesign CS5, you can create captions based on image metadata in a variety of ways. The interactive accompanying signature uses a new text variable called “Metadata Accompanying Signature”. You can create and edit text label variables for use in InDesign.
- Extended features of the “Change Tracking” function. Change Tracking is now available in both InCopy and InDesign CS5. In InCopy, the change tracker includes intuitive icons. - Improved integration with Adobe Bridge. A new option under File Handling allows you to create page thumbnails for more than just the first page of InCopy files. By default, the number of pages for which thumbnails are created is 2, but this number can be changed to 1, 2, 5, 10, or All. Page thumbnails can now be viewed in the Preview panel in Bridge. If you select more pages for which thumbnails are generated, the time it takes to save InCopy documents increases.
- The fonts installed by the document. In InDesign CS5, when you choose to include document fonts in a package created by the Pack command, InDesign creates a folder named Document Fonts. - Buzzword integration. Buzzword is a web-based word processor that allows you to create and save text files on a web server. InCopy CS5 has the ability to import text from Buzzword documents and export content to Buzzword.
- Advanced Layers. The Layers palette in InCopy gives you more control over your documents. Individual page elements located on a layer can be hidden or blocked. See Using Layers.
- Improvements to the save function. Closing documents and saving changes to multiple stories is now faster thanks to the multithreading mode. The Background Operations palette (Window > Utilities > Background Operations) displays the progress of current processes.

- community help. Adobe Community Help provides access to complete documentation for Adobe products, as well as community-created learning and other learning content on Adobe.com.
